The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust: We really need you now

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

rescued DSWT orphaned elephantsTwo young orphaned bull #elephants were rescued from Tsavo East National Park yesterday and flown to the Nairobi Orphanage on the same plane.

We are being called to rescue orphaned elephants at an alarming rate. Since 8th September we have been called to a staggering 14 rescues in 18 days. Currently we have 33 elephants reliant on us at the nursery – the most we have ever had at any one time, stretching our resources to the full.

With each rescue costing an average $1500 and room needed to provide a safe haven for each new arrival, as well as their 24-hour a day care, we urgently need help.

Please, if you are able to, make a donation today and help us. We really need you now. Thank you.
