The mission of Higher Ground – Animal Advocacy: To be an advocate - change agent for animals, by challenging powerholders and the population of Alabama to redress their relationship with animals. Through organized nonviolent social activism and education, HIGHER GROUND works to restore accountability and compassion, thereby creating a more just society for animals.
